Baja Broadband, a TDS company, is hiring Sales Representatives in Alamogordo, NM.
Baja is seeking motivated individuals, with an interest in sales, to get out in the local communities to educate and offer Baja products and services to our residential customers. Sales are primarily achieved by contacting prospective customers through door to door activity, networking, and referrals.
Sales Representatives at Baja get rewarded for sales performance. We offer a base salary plus uncapped commission. Sales Representatives earn an average yearly salary of $30,000+.
At Baja, we INVEST in our Account Representatives:
First 3 months of employment we offer a Compensation Plan to help you achieve an income level at $30,000/yr while training!

Hours: Full-Time Monday - Friday. Saturdays may be occasionally required (with a corresponding weekday off).
Contact cold and warm prospect customers through in-person contacts, networking, and referrals to educate them on products and services available in territory.
Make sales calls to determine customer need, gain information, and sell services to prospective customers in order to achieve sales quota
Maintain technical knowledge and interpersonal skills necessary to achieve success in position. Maintain proper appearance and professional attitude at all times to represent the company positively in the community.
Attend and participate in sales meetings and training as established by management.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
/Required Qualifications/
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, insurance, and have access to reliable transportation.

year sales or customer service experience.

Must be enthusiastic, persuasive, persistent, and have the ability to handle rejection in the selling process well
Must be a good listener and have superior people skills
Must be committed to providing exceptional customer service in a calm, professional manner
Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and be a self-starter
Excellent oral and written communication skills for interaction with customers to educate them on cable, voice, and data services
Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and customer information
Ability to deal with public in a professional manner
