04 Hourly $37,752 - $60,403 Annually This position is a Pay Band 60 Purpose of Position Incumbent will be responsible for providing high level support to Children's Court Attorney staff in the Metro region.
This includes conducting research, preparing statistical reports, monitoring fiscal activities, assisting with budget preparation, handling information requests, scheduling meetings, arranging conference calls, and supervising legal secretarial staff in the region.
THIS IS A REGIONAL POSITION; THEREFORE, INCUMBENT MAY BE HOUSED IN LAS CRUCES, SILVER CITY, DEMING, ALAMOGORDO, T OR C, OR SOCORRO.

How does it get done? Perform personnel, and budget/fiscal activities for the region in an accurate and efficient manner.
(40%) Provide effective supervision to all legal secretarial staff in the region in a fair and professional manner.
(25%) Serve as liaison between the field office and PSD central office in efficient and professional manner.
(25%) Perform administrative functions such as composing letters and memos for Children's Court attorneys and adhere to division and department policies and procedures in a manner that ensure the smooth operation of the offices in the region.
(10%) Minimum Qualification High School diploma or Equivalent and two (2) years work experience in office administration.

Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage.
Some sitting, standing, bending and reaching may be required.
Travel may be required.
Possible exposure to irate clientele.
Incumbent will work under stress and frequent time constraints.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
